
Teresa Ranieri
Dancer
Born in Bari (Italy) on the 4.8.66, she has got her dance education in Italy and
France. 1985 moved to Germany to dance as soloist in several Theaters, working with
choreographers like Amanda Miller, Rui Horta, Jacopo Godani, William Forsythe
and many others. Since August 2000 freelance dancer, teacher and choreographer.
On 2005 moved to Portugal. Teacher for contemporary dance at High School for Dance in Lisbon (P) and
Antwerpen (B) and at the Bruckner University in Linz (A).
On 2004 she won the Solo Competition in Stuttgart (D) with the piece “Libero
arbitrio”. She is guest choreographer for different companies in Germany and Austria. Artist
in Residence of the Choreographic center “Espaço do Tempo” in Montemor-o-novo
(P) where she is producing her own performances.
She is collaborating with MOUVOIR since 2003, as a dancer in “Ripple-re-vue” and
“Helter Skelters vol. 2” and as assistent in “Cactus bar”.
