Felix Wittek works as cultural manager for different projects on dance, theatre and performing arts in regional, national and international contexts.
He studied history of art and cultural studies in Bremen and Paris. After graduating in 2003 he started his career at the Schwankhalle Bremen as production manager for the artists in residence (steptext dance …project & Junges Theater Bremen). There he founded together with other theatre and radio makers the radio art project Schwankungen and curated the OUTNOW!-festival.
After moving to Hamburg he was manager of the performance artists deufert +plischke and also taught cultural management at the University of Hamburg.
Furthermore he works for festivals such as FAVORITEN in Dortmund as project manager and parallely coaches young artists on their first productions.
Since May 2010 he is manager of MOUVIOR. He lives and works now in Cologne.
