A café at dawn, under dark trees. A poet scribbles his vision of utopian love on paper: Georgia. The guests in the café are causing havoc behind his back. His paranoid vision? A quay alongside the Seine, Georgia is coming out of the water. Yet, before he can reach out to touch her he is swept off his feet and thrust onto a barge at Pont Neuf by an insignificant gust of wind, meant only to send that red sheet on its way. The ground begins to swim away beneath his feet. A journey through the Parisian night, into a surreal world of images begins. The sites become timeless no-places, points of transcendence into another, more genuine and uninhibited reality.
Georgia received The 3rd German Videodanceprize and was shown at many international Filmfestivals.
