MOUVOIR tanzt nachts

MOUVOIR-Series in Cologne’s newly opened underground club King Georg

Miss Bailey and Douglas Bateman are inaugurating the new MOUVOIR-Series “MOUVOIR tanzt nachts” in Cologne's newly opened underground club King Georg on September 19th, 2008. In intervals “MOUVOIR tanzt nachts” will present short creations of associated artists.

Miss Bailey and Douglas Bateman have met during MOUVOIR's last year's production “cactus bar”. In King Georg contemporary dance will congregate with the eclectic, unique style of DJane Miss Bailey.

Londonborn DJane Miss Bailey gets her inspiration from a deep love to House, afrolatinjazz rhythms, disco, and other electronic sounds. She djayed at all kind of different clubs and festivals, such as the V Festival, Club Azuli @ Pacha, SMACK. Now she is residence DJane at Bootylicious and Sunday Happy Day.

Douglas Bateman is dancer and choreographer from London. He has worked European wide for many companies and projects, such as Pretty Ugly Dance Company, Scapino Ballet. Between classical dance and dance theatre everything is welcome to him and makes him an exceptional performer.

Douglas will vitalise the evening with Sabina Perry, dancer and actress from Toronto who presently is living and working in Amsterdam.
